Grammy Nominee Kim Stratton to Perform at The Word Of His Power Ministry Season 4 Reception and Open House on November 19, 2019

The Word of His Power Ministry of Chicago, a non-denominational, biblical study for both the newcomer and scholared alike, announces it will be holding a Pre-Season 4 Registration Open House and Reception on November 19, 2019 at The Salvation Army KROC Center from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM (doors will open at 5:30 PM).

Speaking at the event will be Ministry speaker, teacher and renowned theologian, Theresa A. Doby, MPH, MTh, M.A., Bioethics. Doby is currently earning two PhDs in Healthcare Administration (Dissertation: Quality and Safety in Health Care Practice) and Pastoral Care with a concentration in Bioethics Studies at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago.
Deeply experienced in urban ministries, including a wide variety of special ministries and outreach programs, Doby welcomes all current and future students to attend the November event and commented, “It is through a deeper understanding of the word of God that our ministry hopes to enlighten our students to embrace and integrate their faith throughout all aspects of their life, enabling them to please God and live victoriously.”

The event will also feature a special, live performance by Grammy-nominee and gospel singer and songwriter, Kim Stratton. Best known for her songs inspired by her own emotional journey from heartache to healing, Stratton explains,”No matter how difficult your challenges may become, we must never forget to worship.” Stratton will be performing such well known songs as “More Than Enough,” “Favor Ain’t Fair” and “Unto the Lamb.”

The Word of His Power Ministry’s Season 4 will begin April 21, 2020 with a core focus on “Biblical Leadership Dynamics.” Classes will be held at The Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, located at 1250 West 119th Street, Chicago, IL 60643. The KROC Center provides easily-accessible parking at no charge to all students and guests.
